Today I'm turning the brand spotlight onto Aussie favourite Jurlique. A brand which bases its philosophy upon a fusion of the worlds of chemistry and botany, taking natural skincare to a luxury level via science and innovation. The brand uses certified organic and sustainable farming methods to produce the purest and most potent blend of ingredients possible. Using only proven botanicals, Jurlique products are free from nasties - cheap fillers and unnecessary fragrances. Every ingredient serves its purpose, guaranteeing pure and effective skincare.
Purely Bright Spot Treatment* This 2-in-1 skincare wonder aims to battle the scars left behind by previous breakouts as well as prevent future blemishes from leaving their mark. I suffer from a lot of scarring on my cheeks, and this cool silky serum has been an absolute miracle-worker - reducing both redness and soreness within just a few days of incorporating this into my routine. Infused with some of nature's most powerful anti-oxidants, it calms and soothes inflammation instantly, whilst working to noticeably brighten deep-rooted pigmentation with continuous use.
Rose Hand Cream* Upon first application you'll wonder as to how this super thick and luxuriously rich hand cream could ever be absorbed into your skin [let alone do so without leaving them tacky]. You'll be pleasantly surprised however. It's not instant, but give or take a few minutes and your hands will feel nothing but smooth, soft, and supple. I'm not a big fan of rose-scented products, but nonetheless I always find myself reaching for this when my hands are especially dry. Enriched with almond oil, Vitamin E, and honey, it provides a nourishing treat and long-lasting hydration to sore winter-chapped hands.
Balancing Day Care Cream* On no-makeup/stay-at-home days, this hefty tube takes pride of place on my desk for constant reapplication throughout the day. I wouldn't quite describe it as 'lightweight' [as the brand does] - like the above, it boasts a really thick, buttery texture which sits for a few minutes before sinking into the skin. Not one to wear under makeup, for whilst it doesn't appear greasy or shiny, it does leave a faint and noticeably tacky layer. Personally I don't mind this tackiness as I do prefer to apply day cream really thickly [as if it were a mask] for an intensive injection of moisture and hydration. This leaves my skin feeling super nourished and protected, quite unlike anything I've used before.
Herbal Recovery Antioxidant Cleansing Mousse* An oil based cleanser in foam form, which makes for a innovatively fuss-free approach to using cleansing oils. Unlike most foaming cleansers this doesn't feel drying or stripping at all. In fact, it's very delicate and soothing, leaving my skin feeling noticeably softened and calmer post-use. Thanks to its complex blend of botanical oils [including jojoba, rosehip, and evening primrose oils] this is the kind of cleanser which can benefit any and every skincare routine.
Skin Balancing Face Oil* I am never without a bottle of treatment oil amongst my skincare lineup, and [unless I'm looking to address a singular skincare concern] I particularly adore those which contain a blend of oils. Jurlique's formula offers a cocktail of the finest moisturising extracts - including rosehip, avocado, and macadamia oils, Vitamin E and shea butter. A light, silky oil which I frequently pair with the above day cream for an acute [and luxe] moisture boost; expect healthy, radiant skin in no time at all.
