Got a hyper-specific beauty concern? Looking for a holy grail skincare product? Need help deciding between two almost-but-not-quite identical red lipsticks? Every weekend I take to Instagram to offer up my personal shopping services pro bono. And every week I record the questions and answers on here - an ever-growing archive of product recommendations. Can’t find the answer on here? Join me for The Weekly Shop next weekend - @thatgracegirl. No dilemma is too big, no request too niche, and no question will go unanswered.

From perfume dupes to multitasking balms, scroll down for this week’s shopping list - a Black Friday special.

A perfume similar to Glossier You.

Glossier You is currently 25% off (£33!) right now so I’m not sure you’ll find anything cheaper… I smelt Kiehls Original Musk last year and it’s very similar (currently £34) and I also think that Escentric Molecules 01 (£39) smells like You.

A curling mascara. I just ran out of Roller Lash and want to try something new.

I strongly believe that there is a L’Oreal or Maybelline dupe for every high end mascara out there (and actually prefer Maybelline Lash Sensational to the Roller Lash formula anyway). It’s £9.

Some fancy body care to gift to my mum/MIL.

Glossier and Nécessaire both have amazing value gift sets right now. Plus, all Necessaire orders come with a free body serum and what’s more fancy than a body SERUM?

Something for blackheads.

I use Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant 1-2 times a week to keep on top of blackheads and enlarged pores.

Best deal on the Rouge Dior Christmas lipstick and clutch set, please!

Okay, best I can find it for is £117 at Debenhams BUT if you shop through Quidco you’ll get 4% cash back which is basically another £5 off.

I found Olaplex for £18. Is it worth it?

100%! I pay full price for top ups of Olaplex because it’s THAT GOOD.

Something for mild redness (maybe rosacea?)!

The Avene Antirougeurs (anti-redness) range is heavily reduced at Boots and Essential at the moment and includes an amazing mask which has worked wonders for a recent client of mine.

A no-feel leaving conditioner. Extra points if it smells wonderful!

Remember the Aveda Sap Moss products I posted about the other day? Well the conditioner is completely weightless! And smells like a spa!

Something for dry skin on my body. Especially elbows, knees, and heels.

Egyptian Magic! It very rarely goes on sale so now is a good time to buy.

Which size of the MyKitCo brush caddy would you recommend?

I have the regular size (and a probably above average amount of brushes). Fits all my brushes and has enough sections for me to categorise them.

The best SPF moisturiser.

I would always recommend a separate SPF and moisturiser so that you get more benefits from both BUT I understand the convenience of wanting 2-in-1. Bare Minerals’ Skinlongevity SPF30 is one of my all-time favourite SPF products. I find it is more SPF than moisturiser though, so if you have dry skin I’d recommend an additional day cream.

Anti-dandruff treatment that works. I’ve tried The Body Shop Ginger Shampoo, Heads & Shoulders, and T-Gel.

A dual-pronged approach. Philip Kingsley’s Scalp Treatment to clarify then Gallinee’s Scalp & Hair Serum to restore balance.
